Folks around Oklahoma City know how much Kevin Durant means to the community and now Durant is making friends in Detroit, too.

Durant, who was in Detroit for Sunday's game, got to meet 13 year-old Anthony Cupp, who said Durant was his favorite player. Cupp recently had saved money to buy the newest Kevin Durant shoe, but Cupp's shoes were stolen off his feet by an older boy.

Sunday, Durant got to meet Cupp, gave Cupp a pair of KD 7 shoes in Cupp's size and another pair in Durant's  size, which Durant signed.Durant also gave Cupp a sweatshirt and a backpack.
