DUBLIN (AP) Kenya's women's rugby team will compete in the Olympic sevens tournament in Rio de Janeiro next year after South Africa gave up its place.
World Rugby says on Tuesday that Kenya's spot has been confirmed after South Africa's Olympic Committee said it won't be accepting a place earned via the Africa regional qualifier.
Kenya was runner-up in this year's qualification tournament.
