By now, you’ve heard all the jokes about popular musician Drake being a “jock sniffer” with athletic teams across the country, both college and professional. The list of teams he claims to be a fan of is more than you can count. One of his main loves, to hear him tell it, is Kentucky Wildcats basketball. It seems, however, that Big Blue would like him to back off just a little bit.

It all started with this picture taken in October of 2014 between the artist and four star recruit Charles Matthews (who was already committed to UK at the time and would sign with the school):

The meeting is a no-no, according to the NCAA. The school self reported the violation and was not punished for the offense. However, according to a Kentucky sports website, the school had a message for Drake:

“As part of Kentucky’s self-reporting, the university sent a letter to the NCAA explaining it had issued a cease-and-desist letter to (Drake) directing him to refrain from conversations with prospects or taking photos with prospects when that conversation or photo occurs outside the parameters established by the NCAA.”

Now, if we can just figure out a way to get him banned from talking to people in general, that would be super.
