Kelly Johnson is resolutely resistant to temptation. He entered the Arizona Diamondbacks' camp after his best season (and his best offseason) with blinders firmly in place.
Johnson has had enough bumps along the way that a career year with the D-backs in 2010, a $5.85 million salary this season and a possible bigger-bucks reward in the free-agent market afterward will not be a distraction. He refuses to allow it.
