CLEVELAND -- The Red Sox lone visit to Progressive Field usually draws its share of fans, but their figures to be even more on Wednesday.
The Indians announced on Saturday that Johnny Manziel and Justin Gilbert will throw out the first pitch in what will be the final game of a six-game homestand. Both Manziel and Gilbert were selected by the Browns in the first round. And for those fans who come with an appetite, it is also Dollar Dog night.
On Tuesday, running back Ben Tate will throw out the first pitch. Tate endeared himself to Cleveland fans after signing during free agency by donning a cap or jersey of every pro team.
Last season, in Tito Francona's first season managing in Cleveland, the Indians lost six of seven to his former team.
