Jockey Calvin Borel announces retirement
Kentucky Derby-winning jockey Calvin Borel has decided to retire from horse racing, TVG personality Britney Eurton tweeted on Wednesday.
The Louisiana native won three Kentucky Derby winners, Street Sense, Mine That Bird and Super Saver.

He became best known as Bo-Rail for his rail-skimming, ground-saving rides.
In all the 2013 Racing Hall of Fame inductee won more than 5,000 races.
He won the Derby in 2009 on Mine That Bird, a 50-1 shot from New Mexico, and then moved off the gelding and guided Rachel Alexandra to victory in the Preakness.
Rachel Alexandra went on to win Horse of the Year honors.
Borel won more than $127 million in purses during his career.
