Jerry Jones puts positive spin on loss
Although Jerry Jones said he was frustrated by Sunday's 31-29 loss in Baltimore, he wasn't completely disappointed about the effort.
"We had a big effort, really probably the best football game that I would say that we've played this year," the Cowboys owner and general manager said. "You might take exception to the Giants game, but still the best game we've played. You looked at it with this stadium and you would like to think you could get out with a win and I'll take Bailey stepping up there to try to nail that thing from 50 yards out every time."
Now at 2-3, Jones was asked if he was surprised by the Cowboys' record?
"I thought we'd be better," he responded. "I thought we'd be better as a record, but I will say this, I feel good about our team. I feel good about what we can do as team. We know how long a journey this is in the NFL, but I feel better about our team than I did frankly over the last two weeks."
