Jeremy Stephens vs. Charles Oliveira co-headlines 'Ultimate Fighter' finale

'The Ultimate Fighter' finale has a co-main event.
Featherweight contenders Jeremy Stephens will take on Charles Oliveira in the co-headliner of the finale on Dec. 12 in Las Vegas, according to UFC.com. The main card will air on FOX Sports 1.
Stephens (23-10) might have been a win away from a title shot when he fell to Cub Swanson in June. Coming into that fight, "Lil' Heathen" had won three straight. The 28-year-old knockout artist is one of the most entertaining competitors in the UFC's featherweight division. He's ranked No. 10 among contenders.
Oliveira (18-4, 1 NC) was supposed to fight Nik Lentz earlier this month in Connecticut, but Oliveira came in four pounds over the 146-pound maximum at weigh-ins and became ill the day of the fight, forcing the contest to be canceled. "Do Bronx" has won two straight and is coming off a submission victory over Hatsu Hioki in June. Oliveira, 24, is ranked No. 14 among UFC featherweight contenders.
The "TUF" finale main event will be the first UFC women's strawweight title fight. The 115-pound tournament is taking place on "The Ultimate Fighter," airing at 10 p.m. ET Wednesday nights on FOX Sports 1. The finale will take place in Las Vegas at The Pearl at The Palms venue.
