Jenny Simpson wins 4th Fifth Avenue Mile title

NEW YORK (AP) American Jenny Simpson won her fourth Fifth Avenue Mile title Sunday, and Nick Willis of New Zealand took the men's race for the third time.
It was the third straight victory for Simpson, the 2011 world champion in the 1,500 meters. She won in 4 minutes, 29 seconds to edge two-time winner Shannon Rowbury by 0.3 seconds. Susan Kuijken of the Netherlands was third.
Willis won in 3:54.8 to add to his 2008 and '13 titles. Chris O'Hare of Britain was second, followed by Norway's Henrik Ingebrigsten.
