--Higley safety/running back Kelvin Fisher committed to Arkansas. The
5-11185 pounder chose the Razorbacks over offers from Oregon, Washington and
Arizona State amongst others.

--Keep an eye on offensive tackle Wes Schweitzer from Chaparral. He has
no offers yet but expect him to get a handful soon. The 6-5 255 pounder
has gained 60 pounds in two years and has turned in a very impressive first
half of his senior year after not starting as a junior.

--Mesquite TE R.J. Rickert committed to NAU over offers from New Mexico
State, Northern Colorado and North Dakota State.

--Cactus offensive tackle Ryan Nowicki the 6-5 285 pounder got his 17th offer from Boise State.

--Saguaro QB Teddy Ruben got his first offer a few days ago when Air
Forceoffered him.

Key Games this Week:

--Fairfax and Central play for the Metro Region title this Thursday.

--Game of the week may be Centennial versus Westview. Once again, they
playfor the Desert West Region crown.

--Might be the best game no one is talking about. Gila Ridge and Lake
Havasu square off, both have just one loss.

--Keep an eye on Washington v. Thunderbird, Scottsdale Christian v.
Northwest Christian, Hamilton v. Red Mountain and Mt. Pointe v. Perry
