JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- The Jacksonville Jaguars have placed center John Estes, guard Drew Nowak, guard Jason Spitz and tight end Matt Veldman on injured reserve.

Fullback Brock Bolen also was waived/injured Tuesday. Bolen (knee) will revert to injured reserve if he clears waivers.

Estes (knee) and Spitz (ankle) were injured during training camp. Nowak (foot) and Veldman (knee) were hurt during the preseason.

The Jaguars also moved defensive end John Chick (knee) and linebacker Clint Session (concussion) from the active physically unable to perform list to the reserve PUP list. They don't count against the team's 75-man roster limit.

The team will have to trim to the 53-man limit by Friday night.
