Jaguars 'leaning more toward playing' Bortles vs. Titans
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- The Jacksonville Jaguars are "leaning more toward playing" injured quarterback Blake Bortles against Tennessee on Thursday night.
Bortles sprained his right foot Sunday at Baltimore and has been limited during the team's light practices this week.
The rookie is officially listed as questionable against the Titans (2-12), and coach Gus Bradley says he will be put through some pregame mobility tests before the Jaguars (2-12) determine his playing status.
Bradley says, "We'll just take him out there and see him run, move around. He just looked much better" Wednesday. Bradley adds that Bortles has "really progressed" but he wants to "see him move around even better."
Bortles has 10 touchdown passes and an NFL-high 17 interceptions this season. He has been sacked 46 times.
