Jackson takes friendly shot at Gasol on Twitter

As the Lakers prepare for the opening game of the first round playoff series against the Spurs, Pau Gasol gave an update on the team as they head to San Antonio.

It seemed like a normal tweet from Gasol, until former Lakers head coach Phil Jackson came across it.

Jackson took a shot at Gasol, tweeting back, “you…practice?...I must be dreaming.” Jackson was likely joking, but knowing the Zen Master, the tweet may have been more than just a friendly jab.

Jackson later deleted the tweet.

Jackson is known for his motivational tactics and earlier this year, Jackson got the Twitter world buzzing with a bizarre first tweet, only to have it be part of a bigger plan.

With Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash out due to injury, Gasol played an integral part in the Lakers making the playoffs. Gasol recorded triple-doubles in two of the final three games of the season.
