Just when you thought things couldn't get any better, word leaked out Tuesday night that four star defender Curt Maggitt had chosen the Vols.
When it came down to it, it was about being around family and where Tennessee's latest commitment felt the most comfortable at.

Derek Dooley continued to impress national recruiting experts Tuesday night before Wednesday's National Signing Day when he picked up a pledge from Florida top athlete Curt Maggitt.

"I feel really comfortable at Tennessee," Maggitt told Scout.com about his recent commitment to the Vols. "I have a great relationship with the players and incoming recruits, its about being around family at Rocky Top."

Maggitt, a four star linebacker by Scout.com, picked Tennessee, over Florida, Wisconsin, and Miami.

Maggitt, the No. 19th outside linebacker in the country, left his official visit in Knoxville very impressed with the Vols on January 16th.

"It was a lot better than I expected it to be," Maggitt said in an earlier interview. "It was an awesome trip."

Maggitt is the second four star athlete that Dooley received a commitment from on Tuesday.
