Iowa State redshirt freshman Rohach to start at QB

Iowa State redshirt freshman quarterback Grant Rohach will make his first career start on Saturday vs. TCU, the team announced on Monday. He will replace sophomore Sam Richardson.

Rohach has played in each of the past three games, and has completed 31-of-60 passes for 250 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions.

In last week's 41-7 loss to Kansas State, the Moorpark, Calif. native completed 11-of-24 passes for 88 yards and two interceptions.

Iowa State is 1-7 and 0-5 in Big 12 play this season.
