'Inside the Rays: Kevin Cash' premieres May 2 on Sun Sports
TAMPA, Fla. -- On Saturday, May 2 at 10:30 p.m., Sun Sports, the statewide television home of the Tampa Bay Rays, will premiere an all-new episode of "Inside the Rays" upon conclusion of the Tampa Bay vs. Baltimore Orioles game. Titled "Kevin Cash," this episode sits down with Tampa Bay's first-year Manager for an all-access look at his journey that ultimately brought him back home.
From the Northside Little League to head skipper, life came full circle for Tampa native Kevin Cash when he was named the fifth Manager in Rays franchise history. At just 37-years-old, Cash is the youngest current leader of a major professional sports franchise. He has demonstrated unique character traits and experience gleaned from pivotal mentors thus far this season, all of which have helped prepare him for the role.
