TAMPA, Fla. -- On Sunday, August 3 at 5 p.m., Sun Sports, the statewide television home of the Tampa Bay Rays, will debut a new episode of "Inside the Rays" upon conclusion of the Rays vs. Anaheim Angels game. Titled "Cooking with Longoria," this episode sets the table at Ducky's for a must-watch cooking competition between Rays third baseman Evan Longoria and our host Kelly Nash. Ducky's, a South Tampa dining and entertainment restaurant co-owned by Longoria, opened in December of 2013.

Aided by Ducky's Executive Chef Frank Midulla, Evan and Kelly start the show and competition by preparing a pizza appetizer with their own personal favorite ingredients, followed by a bowl dish as the main entrée. Each meal is judged on appearance and taste. The three judges are Rays pitcher Matt Moore, reality TV star and Evan's fiancée Jaime Edmondson and Midulla. Ducky's is named after the Duck pin bowling lanes found in the restaurant, and before the judges can choose a winner, duck pin bowling gets factored into the final competition.

Evan Longoria has enjoyed cooking since childhood, and he often prepares three or four meals a week in the off season. Ducky's is a boutique sports lounge features four lanes of mini bowling called Duck pin bowling. The main attraction is the 60 inch screens placed throughout the lounge making Ducky's the best seat in the house for every sporting event. The upgraded menu features a combination of traditional bar fare made fresh, as well as some twists on Tampa favorites.
