FOX Sports Florida’s fourth episode of “Inside The Marlins,” centered on Miami manager Ozzie Guillen, will debut this coming Friday, July 13th, at 10:30 p.m. immediately following FOX Sports Florida’s coverage of the Marlins vs. Washington Nationals game.
“Inside the Marlins” Ozzie Guillen features the Marlins manager in a one-on-one interview with FOX Sports Florida’s Frank Forte, touching on his playing and managing career, family and his unique approach to managing and life.
Watch the Marlins skipper as you’ve never seen him before and hear from friends and family who’ve been around Ozzie since his start in the majors. This episode of “Inside The Marlins” features interviews with his son, Ozzie Jr., Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria, former teammates Bruce Bochy and Ron Roenicke, who are now also major league managers, plus former teammates such as Greg Walker and Dave Martinez.
Guillen played 16 big league seasons, then moved into the coaching ranks with the Montreal Expos. He was the Marlins third base coach during the World Series title season of 2003, before being hired to manage the Chicago White Sox, where in 2005, he became the first Latin American manager to win a World Series Championship.
