'Inside the Marlins: Decision Day' premieres July 6 on FOX Sports Florida
Hosted by Allison Williams and produced by Frank Forte, "Inside the Marlins: Decision Day" provides unprecedented access to Miami's organizational meetings with their area scouts from around the country as potential prospects were discussed and evaluated leading up to the Marlins number two overall selection. FOX Sports Florida cameras were filming inside the Marlins draft room on the opening night of the three-day draft process.
"Decision Day" prominently features Marlins Vice President of Scouting Stan Meek as he traveled to evaluate one of the top players available in the draft, San Diego High School pitcher Brady Aiken. Meek also presided over the area scouts meetings and oversaw the Marlins selections in the June draft. Also featured in the show are Marlins President of Baseball Operations Mike Hill, General Manager Dan Jennings, National Crosschecker David Crowson, plus area scouts Rob Corsaro and Brian Kraft. Fans will also hear from the young man the Marlins selected with their top choice, 18-year old Texas pitcher Tyler Kolek, plus several other drafted players.
