'Inside the Lightning: Build the Thunder' premieres March 16 on FOX Sports Sun

March 15, 2017

TAMPA, Fla. -- On Thursday, March 16 at 10:30 p.m., FOX Sports Sun, the regional television home of the Tampa Bay Lightning, will premiere an all-new episode of “Inside the Lightning” upon conclusion of the Bolts vs. Toronto Maple Leafs game.

“Inside the Lightning: Build the Thunder” highlights the franchise’s mission to teach the game of hockey to kids, while also providing life lessons to Tampa Bay’s young people. The Lightning, in conjunction with the NHL and the NHLPA, are in year two of investing more than $6 million to grow the game of hockey throughout Tampa Bay. Fans will get an all-access look at the Lightning’s initiatives in action as we joined the team on their visits to several schools in Tampa and Orlando, including Webb Middle School, Lithia Springs Elementary, Pierce Middle School and Lake Nona Middle School.

Join host Paul Kennedy on FOX Sports Sun and FOX Sports GO as we debut the “Inside the Lightning: Build the Thunder,” and be sure to follow @FOXSportsBolts on Twitter and visit FOXSportsFlorida.com for channel listings and exclusive Bolts video coverage.
