CLEVELAND -- The oldest member of the Indians bullpen will be back for at least one more year. The team announced on Tuesday that they have re-signed Scott Atchison for next season along with a club option for 2016.

The right-hander, who will turn 39 on March 29, has been one of the standouts on a bullpen that leads the American League in wins (27) and has the third-lowest ERA at 2.91.

Atchison has made 53 appearances and is 6-0 with a save along with a 2.95 ERA. He is tied for second among AL relievers in wins and 10th in percentage of inherited runners scored (18 percent, 5 of 28). He debuted with Seattle in 2004 and also has played for San Francisco, Boston and the Mets.
