The Indians made a bevy of roster moves before Tuesday's game against the Tigers, most were expected but one was a minor surprise.

Jason Giambi was activated from the 15-day disabled list while Trevor Bauer was recalled from Columbus in time from his start tonight. Infielder Justin Sellers has also been promoted from Triple-A.

To make room the Indians have optioned T.J. House, Jesus Aguilar and Jose Ramirez to Columbus.

Giambi has been on the disabled list since May 4 after suffering a right calf strain against the White Sox. He has been on the DL twice this season and is 0 for 10 in four games this year.

Bauer has spent most of the season in Columbus, going 4-1 with a 2.15 ERA in seven starts. Sellers has spent virtually the entire season with Columbus, hitting .227 (32-141) with 15 RBI in 37 games. Sellers has appeared in 29 games at shortstop, 2 games apiece at second and third base and 4 games in left field. He was acquired on March 2 from the Dodgers and optioned to Columbus at the conclusion of spring training. He was with the Indians, April 10-12, but did not appear in a game while Lonnie Chisenhall was on the Paternity List.

House pitched one inning of scoreless relief during the Oakland series. Aguilar, who was called up last Thursday when Nyjer Morgan went on the DL, was 1 of 7 with an RBI in four games. Ramirez, who was called up when Jason Kipnis went on the DL on May 2, was 2 for 25 in 11 games.
