A win is a win. And for Tennessee, a 50-14 victory over Memphis was a good win.
Aside from a pair of Tigers touchdowns that bookended Saturday's game, Tennessee dominated an overmatched opponent. That's exactly what was supposed to happen, and it did. The Vols should get credit for that.
Speaking of credit, Tyler Bray deserves plenty for his performance against Memphis. In his first career start, he set a school record with 308 passing yards in the first half. His five touchdowns were also a record for a single half of football.
