* Jose Lobaton sent the Rays to victory in the final at-bat for the second time in three games, this time blasting a solo home run in the bottom of the 10th to give the Rays a victory of the Blue Jays. Read More

* Catcher Jeff Mathis hit a home run and then added in an RBI double to break a tie in the eighth as the Marlins were able to avoid a sweep at home by the Giants. Read More

* Rays righty Alex Cobb and Blue Jays lefty J.A. Happ got together before Sunday’s game to reflect on their similar injuries -- both were struck in the head by line drives -- and talk about their recoveries and returns to the mound. Read More

* Tampa Bay Rays left-hander Matt Moore played catch at Tropicana Field, throwing 55 times from about 75 feet with pitching coach Jim Hickey looking on. Moore, on the Dl with elbow soreness, said he plans to play catch again Monday, perhaps increasing the distance to 90 feet. Read More

* Miami Dolphins tight end Dustin Keller will miss the entire season because of a right knee injury, a person familiar with the diagnosis told the Associated Press on Sunday. Keller was hurt in the second quarter of Saturday's preseason game at Houston. His leg bent unnaturally when he was tackled by D.J. Swearinger on an incompletion, and he was carted off the field.
