If Dale Earnhardt Jr. could be any athlete in the world, whom would he choose to be?
A fan posed this intriguing question to NASCAR's 12-time most popular driver on Thursday, and Junior's response was surprising to say the least.
Turns out the athlete he'd most like to be is someone not even half his age -- and who competes for his company, JR Motorsports.
That would be 19-year-old Chase Elliott, the 2014 NASCAR XFINITY Series champion and future driver of the iconic No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet being vacated by Jeff Gordon at season's end.
@DaleJr if you could be any athlete in the world, who would you pick?

.@chaseelliott so I could do it all over again. Plus he kinda looks like a young Elvis. Side job as an impersonator. https://t.co/195kZQA15z

No pressure there, Chase. Not only are you filling the seat of a legend next year. It seems your current boss wants to be like you, too.
Who knew?
