After a Game 6 that was among the best in NBA Finals history, South Florida fans may be considering how much they are willing to shell out for Thursday’s Game 7.
And it won’t be cheap to say you were there for the series finale between the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs.
“The average ticket price for Game 7 is nearly 70 percent more than Game 6,” said Meredith Owen of Ticketcity.com.
And Owen notes that a ticket for Thursday’s game is about 30 percent higher than the Heat’s clincher last season.
But the chance to be in American Airlines Arena on Thursday is a priceless opportunity. It just depends on how much you are willing to pay, and when was the last time you checked under the cushions on your sofa.
About 2,300 tickets remained available on Stubhub.com on Wednesday afternoon.
The lowest price tickets — for standing-room only — are going for $370 on Stubhub.com and $378 on Ticketcity.com. (Wear comfortable shoes.)
A pair of courtside seats in Row AA were going for — gulp — $58,825. (You may have to put off that new sports car a few more years.)
More affordable options include seats in the lower level for $5,000.
