Houston coach Tony Levine likes to have fun with his players.

He's pulled several pranks on his team, including unveiling some hideous alternate uniforms for Halloween last season.

Levine also has a funny way of introducing his personality to the Cougars' newcomers.

When walk-on kicker Kyle Bullard and his mother visited Levine in his office this month regarding the team's scholarship situation, the head coach didn't just get straight to the point while cameras were rolling to catch their reaction.

Instead, he danced around the topic while the anxious mom waited to hear the good or bad news.

After making it sound as if there wasn't going to be a scholarship available, he finally let Bullard know that he will be getting a full ride.

And his mom could finally breathe a sigh of relief.

"I thought you were going to say the exact opposite," she said. "That's the best April Fools' joke ever."
