James Ennis scored 18 points in 28 minutes, but his effort wasn't enough as the Miami Heat fell 85-77 to the Boston Celtics in each team's first game of the Orlando NBA Summer League.
Ennis, who spent last season playing in Australia and Puerto Rico, added eight rebounds, while Justin Hamilton scored 13 points and pulled down nine rebounds.
First-round draft pick Shabazz Napier struggled, going just 3 of 15 from the field with eight turnovers.
