Hanzal suspended 1 game for hit on Brown

NEW YORK (AP) -- Coyotes forward Martin Hanzal was suspended Wednesday for one game for a hit on Kings forward Dustin Brown.
The NHL announced the discipline a day after Hanzal was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for boarding at 11:01 of the third period in Game 2 of the Western Conference finals Tuesday night.
Hanzal will miss Game 3 on Thursday in Los Angeles. The Kings lead the series 2-0.
Hanzal typically centers the Coyotes' top line between wingers Radim Vrbata and Ray Whitney and has five points so far in this year's playoffs. also is averaging 16 minutes, 28 seconds of ice time per game.
