Josh Hamilton's condition is improving after being hospitalized with pneumonia on Tuesday and he should be released by the weekend according to a press release issued by the club on Wednesday afternoon.
The statement also goes on to say that Hamilton should be able to participate in baseball activity "within a few days after his release."
Hamilton's illness was orginially termed "an early case" of pneumonia, and the club has remained optimistic that Hamilton should be healthy again in short order after the outfielder was
