INDIANAPOLIS - In the end, Marcus Hall watched.
Hall, Ohio State's senior right guard, did not play in Saturday night's loss to Michigan State in the Big Ten Championship Game. Hall was ejected for fighting last week at Michigan, and his exit from the field include a helmet-tossing tirade and Hall flashing his middle fingers at the Michigan crowd.
On Friday, Ohio State coach Urban Meyer said Hall would not start the Big Ten title game. After the game, Meyer said he'd previously decided Hall would not play.
"He's fine," Meyer said. "I'm disappointed with his actions. The good thing is, that's not who he is at all. He's not a repeat offender who's done stupid things in the past. He hasn't.
"I just didn't feel it was right to play him."
