Greed is Good draws off to win Monmouth Park feature

OCEANPORT, N.J. (AP) Greed is Good drew off in the stretch to win the $50,000 allowance feature at Monmouth Park on Saturday, beating Mello Groove by 2 3/4 lengths.
Ridden by Christian Santiago-Reyes and trained by Russell Cash, the 3-year-old gelding ran the six furlongs over a fast track in 1:12 1/5 and paid $13.40, $8.60 and $5. It was his second win in nine career starts.
Mello Groove paid $13.20 and $5.80, while Unruly Heir was a nose back in third and returned $3.20.
