Gophers score 5 unanswered goals to beat Arizona State

The Minnesota Gophers scored five unanswered goals to win the series opener against Arizona State 5-1.
The Gophers got goals from five different players as Sammy Walker, Blake McLaughlin, Tyler Nanne, Rem Pitlick and Brent Gates Jr. each lit the lamp in the win.
Arizona State took an early lead, scoring 3:53 into the first period on the Sun Devils' first shot of the game, but Minnesota took it over from there.
Walker got the equalizer at 15:47 of the first period before McLaughlin scored at 14:04 of the second to give the Gophers a 2-1 lead.
Minnesota added three more goals in the third period to earn the series opening win.
