Gophers avenge loss with road win over Wolverines

One night after being upset, the Minnesota Golden Gophers men's hockey team rebounded, earning a decisive 4-1 win over the Michigan Wolverines.
The Gophers got on the board late in the first period with Rem Pitlick's 13th of the season. Tyler Sheehy assisted on the tally.
Tyler Sheehy and Leon Bristedt padded Minnesota's lead before the Wolverines' Tony Calderone ended the shutout late in the second period.
Sheehy tallied a second goal in the third to seal the win for the Maroon and Gold.
Minnesota will wrap up the regular season with a home series against Michigan State on March 10-11 at Mariucci Arena.
