Kickalicious has been booted.
The Detroit Lions cut the 28-year old internet kicking sensation today despite a successful preseason in which he made all three of his field goal attempts.
David Akers won the job for Detroit.
Kickalicious, whose given name is Havard Rugland, is now looking for a job, several months after his infamous YouTube video went viral.
The roster move means Norwegians must now return to their national pastime:
