New York Giants defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins says he had a legitimate injury when he went down late in the first half of Sunday night's game at AT&T Stadium.

And if Jerry Jones doesn't believe that, Jenkins suggested Thursday that he needs to have his glasses cleaned.

Jones never mentioned Jenkins' name after the game, but the Cowboys owner and general manager did say that the Giants' attempt at faking injuries "was so obvious it was funny."

"I don't know what he saw," said Jenkins, according to the New York Daily News. "I'm not sure. Maybe he should get his son-in-law to clean his glasses to see what's going on out there."

During the season opener last year, television cameras cut to Jones as his son-in-law, Shy Anderson, was cleaning Jones' glasses. The clip became so popular that the team began selling "Jerry Wipes" on their official website.

On Sunday, Jenkins went to a knee following a first-down catch by Jason Witten. The Cowboys tried to quickly run another play but the game was stopped so Jenkins could receive medical attention.

"I got like a stinger in my shoulder," Jenkins said. "That's what had me down. If he sees the play, I clearly was down before they even made an attempt to go no-huddle. So I'm not sure what he's talking about."
