Gators, Seminoles return to Orange Bowl Hoops Classic

Florida and Florida State both will be returning to South Florida to play in the Orange Bowl Basketball Classic on Dec. 21 in Sunrise.
Florida State, which went 18-16 last season, will be making its fifth appearance in the Classic and will play UMass. The Seminoles return second leading scorer and top rebounder Okaro White (12.4 ppg, 5.9 rpg) along with a promising group of young players, including sophomore guard Devon Bookert.
Florida will be making its 15th appearance in the Classic against an opponent to be determined at a later date. The Gators went 29-8 last season and return five players from their eight-man rotation, including top rebounder Patric Young (6.3 rpg) and playmaker Will Yeguete.
Florida State defeated Tulsa and Florida beat Air Force in the Orange Bowl Classic last season.
