Gary Patterson not happy with TCU fans not showing up
It was cold and rainy in Fort Worth on Saturday, but TCU coach Gary Patterson doesn't see that as an excuse to not support the team.
"Rain or shine, everyone's got to be there," he said. "We're either going to be all in or all out."
The official attendance at Amon G. Carter Stadium for the 11 a.m. kickoff against Kansas State was 42,746.
However, it was clear most stayed home as it looked like a crowd of 15,000 or less in the stands.
Patterson's alma mater is Kansas State, and he knows Wildcat fans get rowdy no matter what the condition.
"I promise you, if we were in Manhattan, Kan. and [the weather] was like that, [the stadium] would have been packed," he said.
TCU lost to Kansas State 30-6 to finish the regular season 6-6.
