The Vanderbilt football program may not strike fear into many teams' opposing fans, but the fact is the Commodores have given the Gamecocks fits in the last three seasons.
Vanderbilt beat South Carolina in two of those seasons and it took a Stephen Garcia fourth-quarter touchdown last year for the Gamecocks to eek by 14-10.
South Carolina head football coach Steve Spurrier says it shouldn't be any easier this Saturday when the Gamecocks go to Nashville for a 7 p.m. ET kickoff.
