Ga. Tech Sees Early O-Line Success
Early Success on Offense
Georgia Tech held a morning scrimmage today in shells. The team will move to full contact and pads on Monday. Early reports from the past week on offense are that the timing on the offense is ahead of both fall 2008 and 2009. Joshua Nesbitt enters his third year as the starter and his experience is paying early dividends and allowing the offense to work on more than just fundamentals.
Fan Day
Georgia Tech held a media session from 3-4 followed by Fan Day at Bobby Dodd Stadium from 4-5. Several thousand Yellow Jacket fans were in attendance for photo opportunities and autograph sessions with their favorite player. Coach Johnson spent 30 minutes with photographs with the fans and 30 minutes on autographs. Coach Al Groh was also available today as part of the media session.
