Fuller vs. Watkins headlines ACC Greatest Player Tourney; R. Barber pulls upset
Virginia delivered one of the biggest upsets yet as first-round voting concluded in the ACC Gridiron LIVE Greatest Player Tournament, while the start of the second round sees a clash of Clemson greats past vs. not-too-distant past.
The Cavaliers' Ronde Barber, the 14th seed in the defense's Bobby Dodd Region, knocked off third-seeded E.J. Henderson of Maryland to lead a set of voting that was largely dominated by Clemson and Florida State.

The Seminoles saw six players advance, while the Tigers had four. Complete voting results from last week's matchups are listed below.
As we turn our attention to the second round, the top seeds, Florida State's Charlie Ward (John Heisman Region) and Maryland's Randy White (Frank Howard Region) are in action, along with No. 2 seeds Roman Gabriel (NC State) and Dre' Bly (North Carolina).
The most intriguing matchup, though, is between a pair of Tigers as Steve Fuller meets Sammy Watkins.
Fuller was the ACC's Player of the Year in 1977 and '78 and was an All-American as a senior. But Watkins earned All-American honors three times, including as a freshman when he became just the fourth player in history to do so.
Listed below are all the votable matchups for this week. The polls will stay open until Monday, Sept. 22 at 6 p.m. ET. Tune in to 'ACC Gridiron LIVE' on Wednesday's at 10 p.m. ET on FOX Sports South for the latest involving the tourney.
