Florida State linebacker Vince Williams sustained a broken tibia during practice on Thursday and will miss at least a month.

Seminoles coach Jimbo Fisher confirmed the news on Saturday, according to NBC Sports, saying Williams' injured leg was only a "slight crack."

Williams, a senior, was the Seminoles fifth-leading tackler last year and is competing for the starting middle linebacker spot this spring.

Williams made 54 tackles, two sacks and an interception last year.
