FOX Sports San Diego Debuts Fan Express
55-Seat Motor Coach Will Take Fans To and From Padres Games and Events
San Diego – FOX Sports San Diego (FSSD) today debuted the FOX Sports San Diego Fan Express, a 55-seat branded motor coach which will take fans to and from various Padres games and related events throughout the season. FOX Sports San Diego is the latest of eight FOX Sports regional networks to execute local fan transportation concepts.
The FOX Sports San Diego Fan Express made its public debut at today’s Padres Season Opener Viewing Party, a private event held at Petco Park for San Diego Padres Baseball Club Members. Hundreds of Padres Members attended today’s event to watch the Padres open their season in New York against the Mets. Attendees were greeted by FOX Sports San Diego Girls, Nathalie and Katie, and offered a look inside the Fan Express.
The motor coach will be used approximately eight times per month throughout the Padres regular season, transporting special attendees to and from Padres games and other Padres related events including:
- Service men and women and their families during Padres Military Sunday games
- Special guests of nominated first responders during Padres First Responder games
- Families of students participating in programs of the non-profit organization After-School All-Stars
- Qualifying Padres group ticket purchases during various Padres games
- Winners of various sweepstakes to Padres games and viewing parties executed through FOX Sports San Diego social media pages
