FOX Sports Midwest and FOX Sports Kansas City kick off their second season of extensive high school football coverage Friday in the Bommarito Automotive FOX Sports Prep Zone. Approximately 50 regular season and playoff football games will be streamed live on FOXSportsMidwest.com and FOXSportsKansasCity.com.
Game selections for August and September were announced today. The schedule kicks off Friday (Aug. 24) with three top matchups streaming live: East St. Louis-Rockhurst, Fort Zumwalt West-CBC and Parkway North-SLUH. October and November games will be selected roughly two weeks in advance.
The web streams are produced with multiple cameras, graphics and replays. Fans have access to a library of instant highlight clips that can be shared with friends and family via Facebook and Twitter. Highlight links can be received from @FSPrepZone on Twitter.
On TV, FOX Sports Midwest and FOX Sports Kansas City will televise the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) Show-Me Bowl football championships for the 15th consecutive year.
Beyond football, FOXSportsMidwest.com will stream MSHSAA championship events in Boys Soccer, Girls Softball, Boys Swimming & Diving, Girls Volleyball, 8-Man Football, Wrestling, Girls Swimming & Diving, Track & Field, Girls Soccer and Baseball, as well as the semifinals and third place games in Boys and Girls Basketball; Show-Me Showdown basketball championship games will be televised live.
FOX Sports’ online and TV broadcasts of Missouri high school events are part of a partnership with Play On Sports.
