BENSALEM, Pa. (AP) Frosted rallied from fifth place under jockey Joel Rosario and won the $1 million Pennsylvania Derby by two lengths over Iron Fist on Saturday.

With Triple Crown winner American Pharoah back in his barn at Santa Anita in California, Frosted was clearly the best of this bunch of 3-year-olds.

Rosario, who was injured and just before the Travers Stakes in August and was replaced by Jose Lezcano, didn't even need to go to his whip to win the 1 1/8-mile race at Parx Racing.

Winning time for the gray son of Tapit was 1 minute, 50 seconds.

Frosted, likely headed next to the Breeders' Cup Classic on Oct. 31 to take on American Pharoah, won for the fourth time in 12 starts. He returned $6.20 for a $2 win bet as the 2-1 favorite.

I'm a Chatterbox won the $1 million Cotillion for 3-year-old fillies earlier in the day. She is headed next to the Breeders' Cup Distaff.
