Freudie Anne, Good Luck Gus win Big A stakes

NEW YORK (AP) Freudie Anne and Good Luck Gus won the $100,000 stakes Sunday for 2-year-olds bred in New York at Aqueduct.
Freudie Anne romped by 9 3/4 lengths over Hot City Girl in the East View for fillies, her third win in four starts. Jose Ortiz was aboard for trainer Eddie Kenneally as Freudie Anne ran the one mile, 70 yards in 1:44.50. She paid $4.80 to win as the 7-5 favorite.
The margin was much closer in the Damon Runyon as Good Luck Gus beat Bullheaded Boy by 1 1/2 lengths. The colt trained by Rudy Rodriguez improved to 3 for 7, paying $11 to win with Ruben Silvera in the saddle. The time was 1:45.80.
