FOX Sports takes spring training to troops

With the help of current and former players, announcers and the FOX
Sports Girls, FOX Sports is bringing spring training to the troops.

The
group, which includes former Braves outfielder David Justice and FOX
Sports South Girl Brittany, will be at U.S. Army Garrison Grafenwoehr in
Germany Feb. 5-7.

The trip proves an opportunity to showcase the
daily life of soldiers and the commitment they make to our community,
while also bring a chance to bring some of the fun of spring training to
them.

Also in attendance will be Hall of Famers Wade Boggs and
Rollie Fingers, current players Heath Bell (Diamondbacks) and Luke
Gregerson (Padres), along with ex-player Brian Schneider, former
player/coach and announcer Bob Brenly, Tim Salmon (FOX Sports West),
Orestes Destrade (FOX Sports Florida), Mario Impemba (FOX Sports
Detroit), Jack Ensch, the director of military affairs for the
Diamondbacks and FOX Sports Girls from each region.

Activities
during the trip will include the MPs and 172nd Infantry Brigade playing a
Wiffle Ball game, with current and former players and the FOX Sports
Girls on both teams, morning physical training and meals with the
troops, combat simulations, youth baseball clinics for children of
troops and visits to the Wounded Warrior Center and schools on base.
