FOX Sports South to Televise New York Yankees vs. Atlanta Braves on Friday, March 31

ATLANTA – FOX Sports South will televise the first-ever Major League Baseball game at SunTrust Park on Friday, March 31 at 7:30 p.m. ET, when the Atlanta Braves take on the New York Yankees. Chip Caray and Joe Simpson will call the game alongside reporters Paul Byrd and Kelsey Wingert.

Additionally, FOX Sports South will debut Braves LIVE: Welcome Home at 5:30 p.m. ET prior to Yankees at Braves coverage, with an encore at 10:30 p.m. ET following the game. The two-hour show will provide an insider’s first look at SunTrust Park, as well as its surroundings in The Battery Atlanta. Caray and Simpson will be joined by Byrd, Brian Jordan, Jerome Jurenovich and Wingert to serve as tour guides for viewers throughout the show. Highlights will include:


    Braves LIVE: Welcome Home and the game will also be available on FOX Sports GO, a free app that provides live streaming video of content televised on FOX Sports through programming distributors.

    The Braves open the regular season on FOX Sports Southeast at the New York Mets on Monday, April 3, at 1 p.m. ET. Coverage will begin with a special one-hour Braves LIVE! at noon ET from the FOX Sports studios in Atlanta.

    FOX Sports Southeast will also have exclusive coverage of the first-ever regular season game at SunTrust Park on Friday, April 14, at 7:30 p.m. ET. Live coverage will begin at 4:30 p.m. ET, including a special edition of Braves LIVE! at 5:30 p.m. ET from FOX Sports’ new state-of-the-art set from the Battery Atlanta at SunTrust Park.
