FOX Sports South and FOX Sports Southeast announce college basketball schedule
ATLANTA -- FOX Sports South and FOX Sports Southeast today announced its 2016-17 college basketball television schedule. The slate includes 83 men's games and 78 women's games across four conferences, including match-ups from the ACC, Atlantic 10, Big 12 and Big East. The men's schedule on FOX Sports South will tip off with Georgia at Clemson on Friday, November 11, at 7:00 p.m. ET. As part of the network's inaugural telecast of the season, FOX Sports Southeast's voice of the Atlanta Hawks Bob Rathbun will handle play-by-play alongside Hall of Fame legend and Georgia basketball alum Dominique Wilkins, who will serve as analyst. Saturday, November 12, versus Grand Canyon at 5:30 p.m. ET.
Saturday, November 26, against Appalachian State at noon ET.
Saturday, January 7, versus Boston College at 2:00 p.m. ET.
-- No. 6 North Carolina will host Radford on Sunday, December 4, at 2:00 p.m. ET on FOX Sports South.
-- FOX Sports South will televise an ACC tripleheader Saturday, December 10, featuring Boston University at No. 19 Syracuse at noon ET, Texas Southern at No. 13 Louisville at 2:00 p.m. ET, and Tennessee State at North Carolina State at 4:00 p.m. ET.
The first women's game on the networks, Southern Illinois at No. 16 Oklahoma, will air Sunday, November 13, at 1:30 p.m. ET, also on FOX Sports South. Additionally, the networks will televise 15 women's postseason games - 11 from the ACC tournament on FOX Sports South and 4 from the Big 12 Conference tournament on FOX Sports Southeast - beginning Wednesday, March 1.
