FOX Sports San Diego Debuts New Show, #SDLive
SAN
DIEGO – FOX Sports San Diego (FSSD) announced today the
launch of their newest show, #SDLive,
debuting Thursday, October 31 at 2:30 PM PST. Hosted by FSSD’s Laura McKeeman, the weekly half-hour show
will feature topics and guests unique to San Diego’s own sports and lifestyle
culture.
“We
are very excited to be debuting a new sports show that is uniquely San Diego,”
said Jeff Byle, Executive Producer,
FOX Sports San Diego. “#SDLive will be a fresh and fun way to showcase
sports topics and personalities that make San Diego a special place to live.”
San
Diego has a dynamic sports culture and as the show’s tagline suggests, #SDLive
intends to give viewers a look at ‘where sports meets the city’. The show will feature
three main segments in addition to a variety of additional content. Each week McKeeman
will uncover the stories behind these athletes with in-depth features shot in
the athlete’s own element. Also, from the FOX Sports San Diego studios, a panel
of local sports and entertainment personalities hosted by McKeeman will discuss
trends and current topics as they relate to San Diego’s dynamic sports
lifestyle. A new local band will be introduced and will play live from the
studios in each episode as well.
#SDLive’s
first show will feature an in-depth interview with Murrieta-born professional
golfer Rickie Fowler, a panel
featuring San Diego Padres Manager Buddy
Black and San Diego Chargers Defensive End Corey Liuget, and a live appearance by local band Del Sol Project. The show will premiere
Thursday, October 31 at 2:30 PM PST and air again at 9:30 PM PST that evening.
New episodes will debut every Thursday.
